NOVELL AGREEMENT WITH MICROSOFT - CORPORATE BETRAYAL TO LINUX COMMUNITY

I feel sadden with what I've read in the news. Novell make an agreement with Microsoft! Was it real? Can Linux distributor really do that? Like Ballmer said, "They said it couldn't be done." Yes, not only I can't happen, I shouldn't happen at all. As the support and user of Linux for more than 4 years, I can't resist that all this novell guy, I don't care is name anymore, doesn't CARE FOR LINUX COMMUNITY at all, he just being a corporate leader, care for the shareholders's wealth. I've read through almost anything that i can find from the internet and I must say that agreement not only benefits microsoft more than the linux community, Novell CEO's have make it easier for the microsoft to target other distros. Novell is being selfish, "Dear microsoft, you can kill all the linux enemy but me, I'm your friend."
NOW, this is the danger of having linux supported by corporate leader who only looks at their wealth, rather than helping world's community. Novell is being a capitalist all this while just like microsoft does. Why Not. It's about profit, and novell wants it now.
We in the other part of the world, soon will begin to be trapped (again) in the piracy world of softwares eventhough we use linux. As the agreement stated, it only covers novell suse customers and users, NOT ALL LINUX USER. So theoritically, novell have agreed that suse linux have violates the microsoft IPs, and so is the rest of linux user.
It may be a wise decision if you guys will want to opts for another distro.

Ubuntu 6.10 Has been Release on 26th October 2006

I've been waiting for this release, hoping for better technology that may precedes 6.06 releases. I've downloaded the ISO images from that server and may take sometime off for testing the CD. FOr those new to linux world, like Ubuntu, you may want to download DESKTOP type ISO images at directly here or preferably visited their download pages.
